The Alexandria Dukes Sports Club are pleased to announce a joint venture partnership with the Sydney Harbour Oysters Rugby Club for the 2024 Subbies Rugby playing season. The Dukes will be joining the Oysters as their 2nd Grade team within the Subbies Rugby Division 3 competition.
Dukes Club President, Aaron Smith, said: "The last few years have been challenging, not only for our club, but for rugby as a whole. This decision is in the best interests of our players to ensure we remain and play together. I'm excited by this opportunity for our players to grow and develop, especially in a higher division."
The Dukes are committed to returning to competition in their own right for 2025. The Dukes hope to use this year to build a strong base, community and identity going forward, while playing quality rugby.
